Colvin Taluqdars’ College is well known for its architecture and serene beauty. Sprawling lush green grounds set it apart from congested schools mushrooming in the city. Added to this is its glorious history and place of pride as an architectural heritage building and the picture is perfect itself.
Large, airy, well-lit classrooms, well stocked library, cutting edge laboratories are regularly maintained and upgraded to keep up to the level we set for ourselves.
The iconic heritage College building was spruced up again to maintain its pristine look. It was painted inside and out in preparation for the Durbar-day. Long pathways were straightened with a herculean effort and all playing fields are now perfectly in parallel to the College. An innovative seating system for viewing games and matches is being started that should comfortably cater to over a thousand students. Attention was paid to the minutest details with several overhead wires being replaced with underground cables. A massive plantation drive was undertaken for the beautification of the College and for bringing about environmental awareness amongst the students.
